2:30 PM Evolution of the Finance Team: Building a Finance Team Fit for the Future Finance Function

As the finance function prepares itself to be much less concerned with low value transactional tasks, new skills will be sought after to enable a finance team capable of taking on a more strategic role within the business.

Bruno has worked in finance leadership roles within Cable and Wireless and Pfizer and is now working to transform the finance department at TAFE SA. In this session he will share his insight into transformation of the finance team:

  • The realised benefits of installing a FBP system at Pfizer
  • How to understand the individuals within the finance team and enable them to play ‘to their strengths’ and how this can create a positive attitude change within the team
  • Responding to the higher education environment; building a unique BI tool fit for the job of beginning the transformation of the finance function
